Joe Carr Removals & Storage was established in 2018 and in a short space of time we have become the go to removal company in the local area.
With over 30 years experience throughout the team, we offer a friendly, professional stress-free moving experience so rest assured you will be in safe hands from start to finish.
We are based in Ruskington and cover all local areas and will travel anywhere in the UK to get you to your new destination. So whether you’re moving 2 miles or 200 miles you will get the same quality of move
REMOVALS
No move is ever the same we can do as much or as little as you require each move is catered to your own individual needs. No matter how big or small each move is completed with same care and attention whether you’re moving 2 miles or 200 miles away. Choosing Joe Carr Removals & Storage you will be in safe hands from start to finish.
PACKING
We offer both a part pack and a full pack service which can be tailored to your own individual needs. Alternatively if you would like to pack yourself all materials are provided in the price, delivered upon quote acceptance and collected once all unpacked at your new home. Packing Guidelines will be sent out with your quote if you need a helping hand.
STORAGE
We offer our own in-house storage options on a short or long-term basis all depending on your situation and volume of goods, all can be discussed to which will suit you best.
– 20ft containers: £120 + vat per month
– Wooden Crates: £40 + vat per month
DISMANTLE & REASSEMBLE
We offer a dismantling & reassembling service of any items of furniture that is required whether it be beds or wardrobes, all will be pointed out and discussed with you during the assessment of your move and can be included in the price of your move or can be quoted separately.
TIPS & ADVICE & MOVING CHECK LIST
With so much to think about during your move, we have created some helpful tips & advice and a moving check list that you can use to help you keep on track during your move so you won’t forget anything. These will sent out to you with your quote.
INSURANCE
All moves come complete with full goods in transit and storage insurance if needed included in the price quoted.
AS STANDARD
We take pride in our work all flooring/carpets and stairs will be protected upon arrival and all furniture will be protected when loaded onto our vehicles. Sofa’s will be covered using our professional covers and mattresses will be protected using our mattress bags. All large pictures/mirrors that don’t fit into boxes will be placed into our padded professional picture bag.

Joe and his team did a fantastic job moving my elderly mum earlier in the year. Joe was very patient and accommodating as we had quiet a few issues with the sale of her home, but it all eventually happened and the team made it a very calm event for my mum. Unfortunately since her move her health has deteriorated very rapidly and we made the decision to bring her to live with us for the time she has left. Again Joe came to the rescue and managed to squeeze us into his very busy schedule at very short notice. The lads went above and beyond helping move some of our furniture to accommodate my mum’s which included a very problematic sofa, thank you so much. November 5, 2020 Can’t recommend Joe Carr Removals highly enough! Joe and his guys were very polite, tidy, kept both properties clean with numerous floor coverings, the one on the stairs we kept down for a week whilst we moved other stuff. Nothing was damaged (except a glass I packed! 🙄). They treated all our possessions with such care. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the guys, even when I didn’t quite know where I wanted a wardrobe to go! If we ever move again, Joe is the first call we will make for removals!!

February 27, 2019 A massive thank you to Joe, Luke, Lee and Timmy (still get Luke and Lee muddled up 🤣) from the beginning which was 9 months ago, my constant questions and panicking - to finally our moving in date of May. Joe showed us so much kindness and calmness. Even when our dates changed due to Covid which resulted in him losing work too, he still couldn’t help enough. Moving day was extra stressful because we had to exchange and complete on the same day. The lads worked their socks off loading the van up when it could’ve nearly all of been for nothing. With ever changing dates from our end we were always informed about availability and we’re under no pressure to put a deposit down until we had exchanged.
Would highly recommend the packing service, it was amazing and made the whole moving day a doddle with zero stress.

Great price and worked around the date to help me move.. moving day was hassle free and none stressful everything was covered and wrapped to protect when in transit super professional and carpets even protected too..

Ben has been part of the team from pretty much the start having worked for 2 nation wide companies in the past he’s now the main HGV Driver/Forman of the firm now and he brings a wealth of experience, he never lets us down and always makes sure the job is completed to high standard on all occasions.
SIMON
Simon has been part of the team for over 5 years now along side assisting on moves he’s now taken on a more office based roll within the company assisting in the general day to day running on the business, from answering all the initial enquires, assessing your moves and organising the diary.
LEE
Lee is one of our part time members, he has been here since the beginning, he started off with Joe as soon as he set up on his own back in 2018, helping out on moves at the end of the week or whenever he can, he brings years of experience and a positive go to attitude to work with him helping all moves go smoothly every time.
CHARLIE
Charlie is our youngest team member and has been with us for 3 years now and brings with him a brilliant work ethic, he’s learnt the job very quickly and has become a vital member of the team. always there to put a shift in when needed.
MELISSA
Melissa is our transport manager, she ensures all our vehicle paperwork is up to date on a regular basis, she brings a wealth of knowledge & expertise in the transport industry and she’s vital member of the team, always approachable for any advice and guidance the team may need.
